I need to have CSS Profile sent out. In December I was sure that I have to fill out Non custodial parent form since I only live with my mom and my dad is in Philippines (and they're not even married). Anyone know where can I find the NCP forms? Is it within CSS/Prof application on college board already or does each college have different ones?

Now another problem. Now that its January, unexpectedly my mom married this guy recently. So I don't know if I still need to do NCP forms or not.

Lastly, a FAFSA question. My mom is going to fill out the FAFSA. But like I said, recently she marries someone. Does the colleges need this guy to fill out the FAFSA as well?

Thanks,
Andrew

Hi,

Yes, you still need the ncp form filled out.

Here is the link to the Noncustodial CSS profile

https://ncprofile.collegeboard.com/ncpWeb/pageflows/Main/NcpMainController.jpf

depending on the school, if your parents got married in 2006, some schools may look at the income and assets of your stepfather in calculating your financial aid

For FAFSA your stepfathers financial count since they want the info from the custodial parent AND spouse. So if they are married in 2006, yes, even if they are filing separate returns for that year, his info goes on FAFSA. PROFILE can differ from school to school, though if you are using PROFILE for a number of schools, the question will likely come up since it is probable that at least on of the schools will want that info.
