CSS Profile and FAFSA Question. Please help.

<p>Hi everyone. I'm slightly confused about the relationship between the CSS Profile and the FAFSA. </p>

<p>We filed the CSS Profile in Nov. because one of my EA schools required it then. However, the bugger with that is once it has been filed, it can no longer be changed.</p>

<p>Now, we are trying to file the FAFSA. Should we use the exact same informaion for the FAFSA as we did the Profile back in Nov., or should we use a new set of estimates that we recently made at the start of the year? Do private colleges expect consistency between the two, or do they want the FAFSA to be as up-to-date as possible?</p>

<p>They’ll prefer it be as up-to-date as possible.</p>

<p>If you made the most accurate estimates you could back then and you’re making the most accurate estimates you can now, you’ll be fine.</p>
