CSS Profile and Merit Scholarships

Is it a requirement of NEU that you submit the CSS Profile before they offer merit scholarships? I'm asking because it appears that some students with pretty high stats did not receive merit scholarships in the acceptance and it may be because they never sent their CSS Profile. I would call NEU tomorrow and ask but I am sure they will be flooded with calls. Anyone know?

Thanks!

i didn't submit my css profile, but i got 14k scholarship

same. got the 14K dean's scholarship and didn't submit a CSS profile

sames. i got a 13K scholarship with no CSS

Let me add my stuff as well. No CSS profile and 14k. I should mention that maybe not everyone is scrolling down the page to actually see the documents listed at the bottom. I know at least I was initially confused as to where the scholarship info was until a fellow CC'er told me where to find it. Otherwise, it just makes no sense that some of these people with amazing stats should get nothing.

Merit and need based aid are seperate. We didn't submit any dos until after the first of the year.

Just wanted to clarify, whats a dos?

oops ! dos is a typo...docs ( as in documents ) is what I meant. Sorry my laptop is missing a couple of key covers..particularly my c and t

15k and I still haven't done my CSS profile. The profile is only for need-based aid.

Got 12k and my parents did do the CSS. It's merit cause we won't get need.

lje62 - Not a problem. I was just like wait.... could this "dos" thing be something new that ive never heard of, so I decided to ask. :D Thanks for the clarification.

ayeleswarapu - you are sooo right. We were not scrolling down and only saw the Financial Aid link, not the Scholarship link. It took us a couple of hours to figure that one out.

when my daughter got her acceptance last year, she missed it too at first because she was so excited about getting in !
Congrats to all !

i got my scholarship and the application status page hadn't said they'd received my CSS yet. apparently they had.
