CSS Profile Early Filing

I'm filling out and submitting the profile for all of the schools I'm applying early to right now - should I also add the schools I'm applying to regular decision now or can I send the profile to them at a later date? I'm just conflicted because it costs a lot to send to each school.

You can wait to send the Profile to RD schools later since their deadlines aren’t until about Feb. There are a few things to consider:

If you get into your early school and chose to attend, you won’t have to pay to submit to RD schools.

Since RD deadlines are later, you might be able to make changes to your Profile and send it to them with final 2011 numbers.

I’m not sure about this, so somebody else is going to have to help me out here. I can’t remember if you only pay the $9 application fee once or if you have to pay it each time you submit school(s).

The initial fee for filing the profile is $9. It costs $16 for each school that you want the profile sent to. Yes waiting for RD could save you a substantial amount of $$.

many schools have later deadline for early action…check the dates
