How many people in your household will be college students enrolled at least half time between July '14 and June '1

Should I include my older d who will be living at home and attending grad school?

Enter amount of medical and dental expenses your parents paid that were not covered by insurance

When I opened the "information" tab it indicated that you could include cost of health insurance premiums as well. No mention of excluding this if paid with pretax dollars. Do we include this?

thanks!

No, grad students are considered independent and not counted as a college student for financial aid forms

thanks, I understand that about my d’s own grad school applications. But this CSS Profile is for my younger d. There’s another question on the profile related to family members in the household

FM-150 A
If this person will attend college what type of college will this person attend.

2 yr
4 yr
Grad/Post Grad school
Proprietary school

In this question it would appear my older d who is applying to grad school would be counted. This is why I was confused about counting her in PH-105A

We included out grad school son…but when push comes to shove some schools DO count grad school siblings in the count and others do not. This is something you should, clarify with the colleges your younger kiddo is applying to. We did, and found that our daughters final choice did count her big sib, but others on her list did not.

thanks thumper that’s helpful to know. I guess I’ll include her in the FM 150 question since that actually lists grad school as an option, but not sure about the PH 105, parent household. did you answer that including your son?

I had similar questions and called Collegeboard, they said yes you do include older child who will be attending grad school and living at home, in both PH105 and FM150.

They said you do not include health premiums if taken out of one’s pay.
