CSS/PROFILE HELP for an International Student with divorced parents

Good evening!
I have some questions regarding the CSS/PROFILE application, and I would appreciate if anyone could help me answer some of the questions.

So, I’m brazilian and my parents are divorced, none of them speak English and it’s been a nightmare filling in the CSS forms and answering the questions about taxation. My father works for a company owned by the state government as a set designer, and my mother is a teacher who’s actually working as the director of the State University of Minas Gerais, but still gets paid the salary of a teacher. Other than that we have no assets, partnerships with companies and we don’t receive dividends.

I’m currently filling the “Parent Non-U.S Tax Return” part and I’m having some trouble understanding what it’s being asked.
1# In “All taxes, mandatory withholdings, and set-asides paid or withheld. Include income taxes, state taxes, local taxes, levies, and mandatory retirement payments.”, do I have to include, in addition to the income taxes, water and electricity bills? In my country the taxation is already inlaid in those bills.
2# In “Itemize the sources and amounts for the taxes and withholdings amount entered above
”, what should I put?

Are you asking if you put down electricity and water bills? No. Those are usage utility bills that your family pays to keep water and electricity in the house.

BTW…which parent do you primarily live with? That parent’s info goes on CSS. The other parent’s info goes on the NCP form.

Also…since you’re an int’l, check to see how much aid the schools you’re applying to give to int’ls. Most don’t give much.
