The CSS Profile form is one of the requirements to apply for financial aid to Johns Hopkins University. With out that form your financial aid application will be considered incomplete and therefore it will not be reviewed. There is no way of getting around requirements, including the CSS Profile.

Will this affect my admission at all? My dad says he would rather pay for my full tuition without any financial aid than turn the form in. He feels it isn’t “secure” enough because he was born in that generation where they don’t trust computers.

I KNOW my parents can not pay for tuition multiple years without financial aid (they only make around $150,000 a year combined and my dad has to pay a lot of medical bills.) So my question is do you NEED it for admission to the college. If not, can anyone give me any arguments why I should have it that I haven’t mentioned?

Not submitting an application for financial aid will not impact your admissions decision. However, you will not receive a financial aid offer. As well, if you choose to enroll and pay full tuition as a freshman, financial aid will not be offered in subsequent years. If you do not apply for financial aid in your first year, you are not eligible for it in future years.
