Would the college application be considered incomplete if CSS Profile is not submitted especially when we said we need financial aid on the application?

We are thinking of not submitting the Profile as we may not qualify for financial aid. Are there any reasons why we should still submit the Profile?

Your application will be complete without it, though if you indicated that you were planning apply for financial aid, you should probably e-mail admissions and tell them you have changed your mind, as they may be sending you information/expecting the forms.

Still, I mean I’ve been accepted to 6 schools already, told them all I would be appplying for financial aid and haven’t yet.

You could still submit the profile if you believe you’ll get any aid at all. Make sure it meets the school’s requirements- Some want just FAFSA, some want FAFSA and CSS, some want some extra school forms. Up to you and your family.

You can get an indication of how much your family will be expected to pay, if you don’t know that already. May help you decide if it’s worth sending in the forms.

^That was my first impression too. But would it be different for schools that aren’t need blind?
