<p>It worked fine the day before yesterday but today when I clicked 'Continue existing application' my browser didn't load my CSSProfile application. This happened on both my laptop and desktop. My customized application pre-worksheet didn't work either.</p>

<p>I don’t know the problem, but I’m wondering if it is “server overload”…lots of folks trying to log into the site to meet the Oct 31 deadlines. And perhaps folks logging on to read their SAT scores (which I believe were just posted).</p>

<p>I tried to start one yesterday, although my daughters are EA not ED and I could wait a bit. I could only do so much and it would knock me off or take forever to reload (reminded me of our old dial-up!) Maybe it has been too busy.</p>

<p>I was doing the beginning, the registration, seeing what if anything changed in 4 years. I will put in the income, tax things, they can do the rest. It’s early, but before I know it, the fafsa etc. will be here.</p>

<p>Same here. I can get in, and I get through part of registration, but I keep getting Time Out errors. Really ****ing me off. Thank god I have until the 13th to do it.</p>
<p>romanigypsyeyes, I did all the financial aid apps for my kids. They did admission apps, I did financial aid apps. I know many families who did the same. It seems to be the normal practice among my kids’ friends. I do work, though, with a number of kids who don’t get any help from their parents. Although I admire them for all that they have to do, I don’t think they’re being done any favors. </p>

<p>I thought only ED applications had to have the CSS profile in by the due date. At least the colleges my children are applying too say that, EA is Feb. 1st or after the New Year.
They say you can fill it out earlier, but since they seem to be having problems, we will wait.</p>
<p>Some schools, like Yale, give admitted EA students financial aid estimates in mid-December. Soooo, they require CSS now too.</p>
<p>Also, I thoroughly enjoy the fact that the College Board has found yet another way to annoy American high school students and their parents.</p>
<p>Has there been any messages on collegeboard about it? We tried various times, I just did, my daughter very late at night, and get knocked off when we hit “register”.
Maybe in a few days, the bugs will be worked out.</p>
<p>They’re probably all away for the weekend. I’m hoping it gets fixed by tomorrow, because it was working perfectly fine for me until around 5:30 today, but for some reason I feel like we’ll have to wait for Monday.</p>
