CSS Profile Question. Please help!

First off, is the application fee one time? As in, if I were to submit to one school now it would be the $9 App + $16 College, but would it be $9 + $16x or just $16x later on?

Also, once I submit the CSS Profile to one school, will I be able to change it for schools whose deadlines haven't come up yet?

And is it wise to submit the CSS/FAFSA ASAP even if it's nowhere near the deadline? Or does it not matter (as long as you get it by the deadline)?

Andddddddddddddd lastly, Cornell's deadline was yesterday (apparently...), so I'll have to submit everything on Monday (Am I screwed?). But here's the thing. There's a conflict of dates between the College Board CSS Profile priority filing and the Cornell deadline. On College Board it says it's the 5th, but here: Incoming Students, it says the 2nd...

Thanks!

Yes, it’s $9.00 plus $16.00 for EACH college. (The College Board must make a ton of money from us!). Search this thread for the answers to the remaining of your questions – you’ll find lots of useful info! :)

I’m in the same situation with Cornell. My friend told me about it and then I checked the site and now I feel like I’m screwed lol.

O I checked the website again, and on another page it states that the deadline is only to get your aid in a timely manner, or something to that effect. It also states that if you submit past the deadline you will be considered with the funds available. So you should be fine, I’m sure many people, like me, are in your position with Cornell
