well, on one of the sections on the css/profile thing, it says to put the estimated income and all that stuff for 2005. my problem is that my parents have no clue what the estimation will come out to be since in august, we did a bankruptcy thing so our business closed down. i'm guessing this affects our income quite a bit so our estimate will be off a lot if i make it the same as 2004 income stuff.

should i just leave it blank and give a reason or should i just fill it in with similar numbers from the previous year. is anyone else having a hard time on this? :[

oh yea and we hire someone to do our tax return thing...i don't know if this affects the reply.

hopefully you are not applying ED, put down a low estimate like $25k or $50k or whatever might be low. You are really jholding a place in the aid line until you give them final numbers. It seems better to have a low estimate and have them reserve campus aid for you that they may take away if you later don't qualify.

On this board most advice you will get is DO NOT applly ED if you will rely on financial aid. You will have to do an estimated number, but with the BK, how will you afford this school?

i'm not relying on financial aid. i'll take out loans in my name if i have to. my dad's calling our CPA or w/e and getting estimates. but anyway, we can't afford it int he sense that we'll have to pay for all of the tuition, but we have a few businesses that will open so it's not like we're desperately in need of money.
