<p>would selling on a forum be considered a "business" or "self-employed"?
Because on my college application, I wrote "Minute Online Business" as work experience and I have to answer this question:
10. Does the student own all or a part of a business, corporation, partnership, farm, home, or other real estate, or is the student self-employed? </p>

<p>for my CSS profile. I'm not sure what to put since I dont pay taxes and what not.</p>

<p>Technically the answer is yes, you own a business. But if it is like mowing lawns or babysitting as a teenager, which technically are also businesses, I would consider answering no but still reporting the income.</p>

<p>I dont think I have to pay taxes since the earnings are less than $400 and I'm under the age of 18</p>
