My parents rent the house we live in. In the Parents assets part, the CSS asks the current market price of our home etc. Since we don't own the home should I just leave it blank?</p>

<p>The answer for you is 0. Don't leave it blank unless you are instructed to do so (leaving things blank may cause a school to ask for additional info, assuming you skipped the question). You don't have any home equity because you don't own a home, so the answer is 0.</p>
<p>Wait ... how is the Profile question worded? Does it ask if you own your home? If so, and if you answered no, then you should leave it blank.</p>
