CSS Profile Question

<p>Should I complete the CSS profile using estimates for my mother's 2009 tax information? Or, should I wait for her taxes to be done?</p>

<p>I'm told on the FAFSA there is an option to put "will file" taxes and then once you get them done you go back and correct the information and put "filed". From the sounds of it, this is not how the CSS profile works.</p>

<p>I’m actually looking up an answer for the same question. From what I can discern, I believe that my parents are supposed to put in estimate for the 2009 tax portion (using 2008), and then mail in something later. I need to submit the CSS by JAN 15 for my earliest school, so I’m trying to get this done as quickly as possible.</p>
