<p>-"Enter the amount of payments to tax-deferred pension and savings plans your parents made or expect to make in 2010." Is this question asking for the number of times that a deposit was made or is it asking for the amount in USD that was deposited in total?</p>

<p>-In the parental data section, the Profile asks you to list your parents' employment info. My mom is retired and I was wondering whether I should leave the "Occupation," "Employer," and "Number of years at current place of employment" boxes blank or if I should put the information from her last employer instead.</p>

<p>I understand that I am to put "No" when it asks if she is self-employed or unemployed, but am a bit confused about these questions. Thanks in advance!</p>

<p>“amount” will always be a dollar amount. If they want you to count something, they will ask for a “number” (like number of people in your household)</p>

<p>I’m not sure about the retirement question.</p>
