CSS Profile Scholarships

Well I just finished my CSS Profile and low and behold I qualify for a fee waiver. [Yay :D]

So now I have 5 other options to send to. Are their any good scholarships out there that you guys recommend I look at and send my CSS profile to?

Thanks!!!

Bump

I hope there is someone that can help me with this. I feel that this is an important question.

I've never heard of scholarships that ask for your CSS profile. It is a financial aid form. I would be leary of sending that info out to people. I have heard of things that ask for your Student Aid report (my son is applying for a fellowship that requires it)

The CSS Profile is sent to the schools you're applying to, so they can determine what your financial need is. Note that not all schools require it, so check the financial aid page of the website of each school.

I wouldn't provide it to anyone else. There's a ton of sensitive personal information on it.

Actually, there are scholarships that require the profile. From the college board website:

<a href="https://profileonline.collegeboard.com/prf/PXRemotePartInstitutionServlet/PXRemotePartInstitutionServlet.srv%5B/url%5D">https://profileonline.collegeboard.com/prf/PXRemotePartInstitutionServlet/PXRemotePartInstitutionServlet.srv</a></p>

This is the list of all scholarships and schools (mostly schools) that require the Profile.

However, in addition to just "sending the profile" you would have to fill out the scholarship's own application, and also make sure you meet the eligibility requirements of each scholarship. But it may be worth the research (ie the links to the scholarships are not included on the site)
