The UR Financial Aid website says the deadline for submitting need-based financial aid documents for current undergraduates is May 15. Is there any advantage to submitting the CSS Profile early with estimated data, or should we wait until our 2015 tax return is filed and use actual data from the return?
Good question. My approach last year (different school) was to try to get my taxes done sooner than later, but wait until my taxes were done to submit.
Thanks. That’s my plan–finish and file taxes as soon as possible after all required information is available and then file the CSS Profile. IDOC should be open by that time frame as well for submitting a copy of the actual filed return.
