So, my parents, (who did not attend college in the US) and I, were somehow under the impression that the CSS profile was not necessary to submit if the FAFSA was submitted. So, we submitted the FAFSA to all my schools, but missed the Feb 1 deadline for a few schools (BC, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Penn, and Princeton). Could I still qualify for financial aid and will this reflect badly on my application? I misunderstood the process, and so did my parents, but there is no way I would be able to attend these schools without financial aid!! Help please!

Those deadlines are generally priority deadlines, not absolute deadlines. All you can do is complete and submit the profile as soon as possible. If you are only a few days late you should be ok. I don’t think Princeton requires the profile, they have their own form. Check the Princeton finaid website.

Okay, thank you so much. I just submitted the CSS to those schools. And you are right, Princeton has its own form, and so does Penn. Thank you!
