I’m really frustrated about a piece of news that I found out today. I applied early action to the University of Miami. I turned in my common app, transcripts, and FAFSA, etc. on time. I’m always on top of my stuff. Even after I turned in what I thought were all of my required materials, I checked my cane link once in a while. Today, I just happened to check my Cane link and saw that my to-do list consisted of tax returns, etc. I was confused because my FAFSA was submitted and processed in November. However, I learned after further research about a CSS profile. Honestly, I’ve never heard of this and wasn’t notified of it. What’s my best case scenario at this point? I will turn it in of course but will I be deferred to Regular Decision? EA deadline was Dec. 1. Regular Decision deadline is Jan. 1st. Please help…
Bump
File it immediately - like today. Nobody can tell you whether this will hurt you as far as admissions go, but at least you’ll make it by the RD deadline.
