that one of the parents received during the year being reported? It was around $13k, I think, and was from my wife's late mother.

I see buckets for $ from relatives, but I am not sure that this is such an animal.

Might it go in this one...

If it’s in a savings account, it will be included as an asset. As I recall (from when we had an inheritance) it was not considered “income”.

It WAS in a savings acct, but it has been completely spent as of the time we are filling this form out - now. So the values we are reporting now under savings acct do not include this.

Someone else here will have to verify whether this is included on the Profile as additional income from other sources. I know if it’s still in accounts, it’s an asset.

Plus I do not see a spot for the amount of money for food stamps or other federal aid that is not TANF money - which DOES have its own slot. If I am missing this, I’d appreciate it if someone can please tell me where I should put food stamp, ‘school lunch’, and energy assistance kind of aid.

Why wouldn’t an inheritance paid in 2010 count somewhere?

It would seem odd that someone could get - say $800k in inheritance - and it wouldn’t count somewhere?

I ended up putting it in Pi 230 A, referenced above, and told the FOA in spcl circ/expl notes that I put it there since there is no detailed breakout in that question.

maybe that 13k was what made css profile think a 5 person household making 22k/yr too rich to satisfy a fee waiver.
