Css profile

Hi,
In my country, income taxes are only for businesses. Individuals are not required to fill in tax forms, which is a requirement to fill in the CSS PROFILE application. What am I supposed to do?

I guess you have to provide a wage statement from your father’s and/or mother’s employer.

You should contact MIT Financial Aid and ask them. They’re going to have much more reliable, credible advice than any of us.

You’re an MIT student :). Use your web powers. Find their email address (if not right there on the fin aid page, it will be under some sort of “contact us” prompt), and write them an email. They’ll tell you just what you need to do.

I wouldn’t worry a bit. I’m pretty sure they’ve dealt with your circumstances before, since they’ve got such a great “international presence” at MIT. (I love that about them!)

Good luck to you!

I’m not an MIT student yet  (I hope I will be)
I thought chris or mollie could answer that

thanks omar3f :), Do I have to send this statement or business tax reports to MIT? How am I supposed to send them, by mail?

mail or fax is best

You can mail it, fax it, or even e-mail a scanned copy of the wage statement. That’s what they said on the site.
