css profile

Does the CSS Profile only take into consideration the money a family made in the year before college?

That would be this year 2012 but our 2011 income was much higher then in 2012 and will be about the same or less in 2013. We have to put 2011 income on the form?

Yes. You will report only the income you earned in 2012 on the CSS. Then next year you will report only your 2013 income.

Actually, the 2012-2013 Profile required Parents’ 2011 Income & Benefits info AND 2010 Income & Benefits, as well as 2012 Expected Income & Benefits. It only asks for Student’s Income & Benefits for the previous year (2011).

Just filed CSS - reported 2011, 2012 and 2013 estimated.

Really? I don’t remember having to list anything but 2011 last year.
