My mother is a homemaker, meaning she has no income. Will I be asked to show her tax return forms if i get financial aid?
You won’t get financial aid unless you complete the required fa forms (Fafsa/CSS) and submit tax returns.
Your mother can’t provide her tax returns if she doesn’t have any. Is she married and named as a spouse on a jointly filed return? How are household expenses paid if she herself has no income?
Who pays the bills? She isn’t married? Homemakers are mostly married filing jointly with their husbands. Otherwise you might want to use a different description of her position (e.g. unemployed single mother, divorced/widowed etc etc). Either way money comes from somewhere hand you will need to show that, with or without a tax return.
