CSS Remarried Parents

Hello all,

So I'm registering for the PROFILE and one of the questions asks: "What is the current marital status of the student's parent(s) whose information is being provided on this application?"
Now my parents got divorced a decade ago. One remarried while the other didn't. That same parent got divorced again and a few years ago my parents remarried. That is, my biological father remarried my biological mother.
My question is, do I have to answer with "Married" status or "Remarried" status. Probably the latter is correct, however the website said that I would have to then fill out the information about my parent and stepparent, and in another section I will be able to fill out information about the other biological parent, which is the same as the "stepparent."

Thanks for the help!

Just married. Remarried would indicate to a different spouse than your parent. Since your parents are now married…just check…married.

Thanks a lot! Now I can finish that today :)

Hey Frisky, how did that feel for you? It must have been some roller coaster. I cannot imagine what you must have gone through. I hope things are alright now. Best wishes.
