CSS vs. FAFSA?

i filed the CSS way back in November when i applied to Harvard EA. However, due to the situation that my father earns his income in a foreign country and files his taxes in Korea, we were not able to fill the CSS out accurately. At the end of January, i filed the FAFSA with actual income values from my dad's Korean tax return. what i'm wondering is, for the schools where the CSS AND the FAFSA are required, is it essential that i send a corrected version of my CSS profile to them? the income that i put on the CSS is actually higher than what my dad actually makes (which is on the FAFSA), so there is a discrepancy between the CSS and the FAFSA.

thanks

any replies are appreciated!

Yes. You have to make hand corrections on the CSS Profile and mail it to the Financial Aid Office. Do this ASAP as it is to your benefit and colleges are awarding now.

do you know if you have to file an international student aid form as well? i'm in a similar situation and one of my colleges requested it

well i am not an international student. i am a US citizen, but my dad just works in another country and files a foreign income tax return.

any others?

i am a us citizen and my mom filed a us tax return. my dad works in the netherland and files a dutch tax return. one of my schools requested an international student aid form from me.

all my schools requested a translated version of the foreign tax return my dad filed. none of them requested an international student aid form.
if you don't mind me asking, which school requested that form?

mit 10 characters

oh i see. i didn't apply there.
i applied to some ivies, stanford, uc's, michigan, uva. i've gotten into michigan and virginia tech so far, but none of them have requested an international student aid form from me..
