Has anyone here applied/attended CSSSA (or Innerspark) and has any tips for applying, or what they are looking for?

I actually went to CSSA Inner spark in 2009, and I hope you did too. I went for theater.
if you didn’t, I’m sorry, but for any future applicants that see this post here is some advice.
If you don’t get in one year apply the next and the next and the next until you cant, keep improving on your skills, when they say keep the video short and want statement a b and c short and to the point, keep them to the point.
I remember some of the questions for the video in the theater department, it was along the lines of why or how would coming to CSSA help you or benefit you.
Response “I feel as though going to CSSA would benefit me in these ways…” but don’t babble! goodness please don’t babble and go on and on, trust me. If you get in, towards the end of that month they show the “reject” videos, I guess, not to be mean at all, but to show why those of us who were there got in. In those videos people just go on and on and talk about irrelevant things.
Stick to the point, be yourself and have fun!
CSSA is an amazing experience that everyone should experience.
