<p>I'm currently a community college student that applied to a CSU Chico in the fall of 2010 for admission for fall 2011. My GPA was at the time of applying was a 2.8. When I sent in my transcript it was a 2.9. By the end of this Spring it should be over 3.0. </p>
<p>Do you think because my GPA was at a 2.8 at the time of applying it would of hurt my chances?</p>
<p>not necessarily, if you show an upward trend in your grades and if theyre having problems deciding on admission, they will send out a spring grades request, and if they see the continued upward trend, you should be in good shape :)</p>
<p>Thank you, i’m still currently waiting for my admission status. They messed up my application saying they didn’t receive my transcripts when they did.</p>

<p>yeah but i can’t just drop it off. The school is a few hours away from me. I called the school 3 times to make sure there wasnt a note on there and they said there wasn’t. Hopefully they werent lying.</p>
