So a couple of my friends have already received their decisions from CSULA and have been rejected. Is it normal to receive your admission decision this early? And what are the possible reasons for their rejection? They all have GPAs above 4.0 but applied to impacted majors.
Each CSU determines when they release acceptances so they can come as early as December through April.
Impaction is probably the reason since it means that more qualified applicants apply for a few available spots. Impacted majors require a higher level of criteria.
