CSU Admissions Decisions

Hi,
I have a lot of friends already getting acceptance letters to CSU’s (Sac, Humboldt, SF, SDSU, etc) and was wondering if anyone knew what the process is as far as how they send letters out. Is it a first come, first serve type of situation, by the highest eligibility indexes, or is it just random? Just getting a little nervous since it seems as though a lot of people close to me have been already accepted to schools I also applied to.

Some Cal states send out admission decisions early to High stat applicants and OOS applicants. Most CSU decisions come out in February but could trickle out through out March and even in April. Do not worry if you do not hear now. There are many more decisions to come.

I wish I knew more of the process to help you. I applied to HSU on the deadline, December 15th, and was accepted into an impacted major on December 20th. It’s the only school i applied to. I didn’t get a letter. I got an email with login information for Humboldt and when I logged in, I saw I had an offer of admission. I’m a transfer student with a 3.9 GPA. I was shocked how fast the decision was made. Normally Spring is when most students find out. So, don’t worry yet!

each campus does it their own way.
