CSU Application Question-Repeating a Course in High School

I failed a Math Analysis course my Sophomore year and am repeating it now in my Senior year, and I'm confused about how to enter it into the csu application.

The application states;
If you have repeated a course by taking the exact course at a later time, list the highest grade(s) you earned in this course. "Exact course" is defined as the exact same course with the exact same course title taken at the same school. Do NOT enter this repeated course – as defined here – twice.

So do I enter the class in twice with my failing grades and an "in progress" update or do I only enter the "in progress" status?

Let me know if you can help, please!

Probably means the higher grade you’re receiving now, but I’d call admissions to double check.

i assumed you will be getting a better grade than sophomore year so you should write in progress.

i agree with cedardog, you should definitely call admissions.
