How do you calculate the eligibility index for college of engineering students.
What would be my EI
GPA: 4.0
Sat Math: 740
EBRW: 700
Is your GPA of 4.0, your capped weighted CSU GPA? Use the RogerHub calculator if you are not sure which will give you 3 UC GPA’s. Your capped weighted UC GPA= CSU capped weighted GPA

If you plan to apply for Engineering, it is really simple Math.
[(SAT Math * 3) + (EBRW)]/2 = COE total SAT score
[(740 x 3) + (700)]/2=( 2220 + 700)/2= 2920/2= 1460
then take the 1460 and put into the EI calculation
(CSU Capped weighted GPA x800) + (COE SAT score)= (4.0x800) + (1460)= 3200+1460= 4680.
This is your Engineering EI if the CSU GPA is 4.0.
