I'm sorry this is long but I'm in a weird situation and I need some help. I failed Chemistry and was in summer school to remediate the grades; I remediated the first semester, but my school cancelled the second semester course because there wasn't enough students in the class (sigh). My high school councelors said there would be no problem taking it in 1st semester of senior year so I thought I would be fine. But as I am touring colleges almost all of the CSU's (SDSU, Fresno St., etc.) say they only look at 10th - 11th grade summer. I'm now in a very discomforting situation as this one semester will be detrimental to my chances at going to college. If anyone has any guidance or suggestions that would be amazing, thank you in advance.

Some community colleges allow high school students to take coursework on campus with the permission of your parents and the school district. You may want to check it out.
