CSU Engineering?

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I am a CCC transfer student majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I've applied to Cal State LA, Cal State Long Beach, and Cal Poly Pomona. I'm pretty confident that I will get accepted to all of these schools, I just don't know where to go?</p>

<p>I know Cal Poly Pomona is probably the best of the three for engineering but from what I've heard, it is really "packed" over there and it is difficult to get classes, etc. I have a friend who sat around at home for the entire Fall 09 semester bc he couldn't get classes! What have you heard/know?</p>

<p>That would leave me with CSULA or CSULB, what have you guys heard/know about these schools for Mechanical Engineering?</p>

<p>Your friend is either a bum or a liar! I took 17 units in the Fall of 2009 at Cal Poly Pomona. Don’t be so confident you’ll get in that easy. Mechanical Engineering is impacted at the two Cal Polys.</p>
