If I have received only one D in my entire high school career, and it was in Alg.2 class junior year, will it seriously damage my acceptances to CSU's?

I received a D for my AP U.S. History class, and still got accepted to all the Cal States I applied to. Your chances won’t be too hurt if you come in with strong test scores, EC’s, etc. In other words, just boost up your other areas.

You need at least 3 years of math, to satisfy the minimum requirements with a grade of C or better.

If you have a D, see “How to make up missing courses”.

@happy2help is correct. As long as you complete the a-g requirement of 3 years of math with a C or better, it won’t bounce you out. The grade will be included in your CSU GPA unless you re-take the class.
