@boxandwhiskers Yeah Im transferring. I didn’t do academic renewal I just retook courses I messed up on at one cc at a different cc. CSUs will consider the grades from both cc’s while the UC’s use the higher grade even if you retook the course at a different cc. Kind of a stupid thing, but whatever.

@TwistedMetal246 That’s pretty much my biggest fear - that I won’t get in ANYWHERE. There’s also always taking another year to bring up your GPA (if it’s possible) and applying in Spring or Fall of the next cycle.

@cathym09 I already listed them on the first page of this thread. I have a 3.48 GPA but my major is impacted. This semester and next semester I’m taking over 16 units and they are all extremely difficult classes.

@boxandwhiskers Oops! Yeah I gotta take 4 hard classes next semester too. I can barely keep up with my classes now and working. It’s gonna be a challenging year. But you don’t need to worry, I’m sure you can get in SFSU with 3.48GPA.
Thank you cathym09 ! Well I know Long Beach has a graduate program I am interested in so that would be good for my undergrad too, but Fullerton would also be great, they have a satellite campus really close to my house.

I’d love to hear other suggestions on where to apply to. My low GPA has me worried on where to apply. I currently live in San Marcos and i’m hoping they accept me there. At this point i’m just trying to get into a CSU and getting started on my BA but I don’t want to go to a school that doesnt have good reviews.

I’m trying to stay close to San Marcos but at the same time I’d like to apply to CSU’s that could potentially gaurantee my acceptance.

@fishandhook My GPA is pretty low as well. So, I’m a bit worried if I’m gonna get in the CSU’s I applied for.
I think you have a good chance at CSUSM. They have an 84.8% acceptance rate last year.
