@Rey22David Wow! Congrats on your acceptances!! SDSU is definitely a better college than CPP overall. I am from San Diego and have visited SDSU a bunch of times, the campus is gorgeous!
Thanks @cathym09 im in SD too, at SWC now, but i want to get out of SD for this next chapter in my life, but i am tempted by SDSUs requirement to study or intern abroad for my major and im all about traveling and doing new things, so we’ll see
Is anyone an SFSU applicant that has not yet been accepted, but has gotten the invite to attend Admitted Students Day on April 9th? This school is trying to confuse me, I swear.
@SFSU Transfer people: Check if your major is impacted. If it is, then it will take a while to hear back from the school. Good luck to everyone. I got in though :DDDDD
@merink Yeah, I got it through e-mail. My friend, who is also a psych major, got the same one. I don’t know if anyone else did. It says,

And I filled out all of the information to RSVP, and then it said, “Thank you for signing up for Admitted Students Day!” So… idk???
@futureeechick I applied to Fresno State and I heard back on Valentine’s Day. I was considered a local applicant, though. Are you in the SCCCD district or from out of area?

I just got an invitation to SFSU’s Sneak Preview for Admitted Students and Their Families on April 9th even thought I have yet to be admitted. I also got the e-mail previously mentioned in this thread. Would it be safe to assume I’ve been placed on the admit list even thought it doesn’t show up on my portal? /
@futureeechick I went to Preview Day at Fresno State last Saturday and the undergraduate admissions adviser gave the transfer students details in her speech on their admissions decisions. They use an automated system. What they do is scan in your transcripts to a computer and what the computer does is check you GPA (3.2 for out of area, 2.3 for in area), checks to see if your Golden 4 are completed, and then it automatically conditionally admits you if you have both of those things. No one sees your application unless you have some kind of special circumstance. So the earlier you send your transcripts, and ADT verification (if applicable), the earlier you hear from them. Also, if you have an ADT, they give you a 0.1 GPA bump, so if you have a 3.1 transferable GPA and an ADT, it’ll kick you up to a 3.2 and put you into the admitted category. Decisions are supposed to come out, officially, starting today.
