Anyone have experience with any of the three. Which one is the better choice.

Pomona is one of the best CSUs.

Chico is a little better than pomona. Pomona is like the 7-9th best CSU overall.

Thanks..... Chico does seem to have the complete college experience. The fact that Pomona is more of a commuiter campus makes it less desirable to me.

I disagree - I've found that CSU San Luis Obispo and CSU Pomona are the two top CSUs.

kylevavis80, CSU San Luis Obispo may be a top CSU, but Cal Poly Pomona isn't. In fact, its far from it. CSU long beach, CSU chico, CSU Somona State, CSU San Diego, and CSU San Jose are all above it.

People often confuse Cal Poly Pomona with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. hye is correct. There are quite a few Cal States that are better than Pomona.

Chico is the best out of the 3 both academically and socially.

Chico is better than Pomona. Fresno would definitely come in last.

I actually regret not applying to Chico. It has the three characteristics I'm looking for:

Way up north (I've always wanted to live in a colder climate than hot, smoggy LA).

Good school academically.

Party school.

"People often confuse Cal Poly Pomona with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. hye is correct."

I wasn't confusing them ... >.>

cal poly is the best.

out of those 3 i'd say chico, but it does have the ultra-partier aspect...

who says that aspect is a bad thing? I don't understand how people can want to go to a school thats purely focused on academics.

"I don't understand how people can want to go to a school thats purely focused on academics."

Most don't, but they don't want there too be too much partying, either. Balance, y'know.
