I applied for the nursing program but got rejected so they changed my major to undeclared

My daughter was accepted on 2-7, kinesiology major, GPA 3.67, SAT 1130. We are local to So Cal.
So my acceptance is actually kind of weird. I initially applied for pre-nursing, but I sadly did not meet the eligibility index. So I received an email the beginning of February saying they changed me from nursing to undeclared. I was kind of bummed and thought I didn’t have a chance to get in anymore. Though, the next day, I received an email saying I was accepted as undeclared.
