Has any TRANSFER students for fall 2013 been accepted from fullerton yet? I keep checking everyday and it just keeps saying No Admission Has Been Made At This Time. Etc. I was just curious if many transfer students have heard from them thanks! :)

I’m a transfer student from a CC in Northern Cal. I got accepted back in january(jan 9th to be exact) good luck!

i got the same message as you right now @britt, i know some of my classmate are admitted already but they submitted their final transcript eariler than me tho.

@xcore: well I hope you don’t mind me asking but is ur GPA and what are you majoring in?

not at all, 2.71 on application, 2.91 on final transcipt, major in business-accounting, local prefer.

btw,i just checked. my to-do-list got updated today, they r requesting new financial aid documents.

Oh your a local if your a local you should have no problem getting in someone got in with a 2.75… I’m out of local i have a 3.3 but their only accepting 3.4 from what they told me… So I wouldn’t make the cut I don’t think… Mine still says no admission decision… :0

i still have hope but with little bit worried since i got denied from CSULB, they are not taking anything less than 3.2

i think you still get in, it sounds nut if they denied a 3.3 student, it is just a CSU school after all.

Ya I have little hope too well that’s the school I really want bad I was born out there and want to go back to that area hahaha… My to do list just changed today to that fiancial aid and idk what else is on that list there’s a lot of things now…

@xcoreflyup: have you heard from them yet?

@dazed: may i ask what your gpa was when they accepted you? =]

@Brittbabygirl Im also waiting to hear on whether or not I got accepted. I checked today and all those financial Aid documents are now in my TO DO list as well. Doesnt even say where to turn them in or by what date.

@Ricky21 Oh what you do is fill out all those papers and mail them on the top left corner of each form is a mailing address and u will notice its the same mailing address on all of them mail it to that address I’d just send it as soon as u can so if u do get accepted the fasfa is taken care of… Ya I still haven’t heard an answer its driving me crazy cuz so many people have heard from them :0

I got admitted on November 16! I applied as a transfer from Ventura/ Fresno City College with a 3.95 + political science major.

THanks Britt!!!

@Brit Nope, same old same old on mine part. btw, i think we will get the response around april/may. i was applied and accepted in fall 2012, i just didnt went cuz i failed one of the golden 4 classes. mind you, last time, i didnt submit ANYWAY and i got in.

@ricky21: no problem!!

@vixlyy: congrats!! :)

@xcoreflyup: same here same with “no admission decision”… I hope to hear from them soon cuz by may 1st I have to accept another college offer CSUSB… But I really want fullerton lol… Cuz fullerton is my #1 choice. My friends portal changed yesterday to “your admission decision is now pending” so I hope our changes soon also…!

yeah, i hope they dont inform me at the last minute too. but the acceting deadline for csuf is 6/1. anyhow, i talked to my classmate whose transferring to csuf just like us. his application is same as me, but with a 3.7 GPA. he also got the no decision on his status too.

@xcoreflyup: damn thats super late… ya my friend has a 3.3 GPA out of area and majoring in criminal justice… thats the one that heard from them yesterday about a pending status. Do u know if thats the accepting date deadline? or last day they are sending out acceptance letters?

6/1 is the deadline to accept the offer. all the admission will probably be done by then.

here is a link to check deadlines.
[Admissions and Records - Admissions Deadlines](Redirect)

Got accepted on 1/9
Transfer - Junior status
In area
3.49 GPA on application, 3.59 now.
Majoring in Child and Adolescent Development.

As far as I know, the in area requirements were around a 2.7 and the out of area requirements were 3.3. They had 50,000 applicants this period and only 5,000 spots (both freshmen and transfers). So their acceptance rate is incredibly low and even qualified people are getting rejected.
