for those that are still waiting for a decision, are there any transfers? If so have you guys already sent in your final transcripts? I’m still waiting as a transfer but I don’t think im going to get in. Out of area with 3.03

@compsciguy91 I called admissions in regards to the “final transcript” notice on the to do list because I had already sent and cleared my transcripts. She said they post that for everyone so they don’t forget to send them after the semester ends. Transfer student - in area - still waiting

wow in area and still waiting? do you mind if I ask what your stats are? Thanks so much for your reply!

@compsciguy91: ya my bf is still waiting is he OUT OF AREA transfer with a 3.1 in business… He is still waiting just like you… No me nor my bf have sent our final transcripts yet just as @ineedadegree said you have to wait till the semester ends then you send them right away when your grades r posted.

thanks so much BrittBabyGirl, I’m nervously waiting right now and I wish your boyfriend the best! Me being way out of area (norcal) with a 3.03 I feel like my chances are slim but seeing as how I haven’t been rejected yet I still have hope!!

@compsciguy91: your welcome! believe me I totally understand how you are feeling I was in the same situation as you checking all the time since November… I had little hope also… because I was told my 3 different people my stats would not get in… but I did but my stats were a 3.34 in sociology also out of the area, but (socal)… my bf feels the same way he still feels since he hasnt been rejected yet there is still a chance!.. You never know I am sure by now they are at least at the 3.2 or 3.1 gpa possibly 3.0 also and yes alot of people applied to CSUF, but you never know if those people that were accepted if it was there 3rd or 4th choice and probably wont even accept the offer =] so good luck! And let me know if you find out soon!

I just called in. Whoever did not get an email regarding waitlist yet and is has still not received an answer, you have been denied. According to admissions on the phone at 11:15 A.M

O shoot I’m sorry ignore previous post!!! Wrong thread

I’ve got denied from CSULB, and still waiting for CSUF admission decision. My GPA is 3.3 though. Maybe because I’m out of state

@ellahoki: ya I think out of state you need a higher GPA… Because I got into fullerton with a 3.34 but im not out of state, but out of the area. I don’t know their GPA for out of state… But hopefully you get in! Sorry about CSULB :(

I am out-of-state and I was admitted a long time ago, but my GPA is 3.78. I was always under the assumption that out-of-state folks didn’t have the sweat the GPA as much because we don’t get in-state tuition breaks and the CSU schools are hard up for cash. Shrug.

It was my impression for most of the CSUs that out of state requirements have higher GPA requirements so that the in area students have a greater chance of admission.

@ellahoki I wouldn’t worry about CSULB they received more apps than Berkeley this year! In area had to be 3.3 or something like that.

I think if you are a local student transfer with atleast a 2.5 GPA you shouldn’t have an issue getting in, CSUF is just really backed up.

@brittbabygirl: Thanks!
@ineedadegree: waw, really, thanks for the info

I guess getting into CSU is harder today. Last year, my friend got admitted with 2.9 GPA in CSUF and CSULB.

well called cal state fullerton today and the lady i spoke to said the gpa cutoff for out of area is 3.25 hopefully she’s spot on. =

@dluu0630: what is your GPA if you don’t mind me asking?? Well if it is a 3.25 then my bf doesn’t make the cut he has a 3.1 out of area business administration.

i have a 3.4

U should get accepted I got accepted in march with a 3.34

UPDATE: my boyfriend heard from Fullerton today… And was denied admission…
out of area
3.1 business administration
