i am a senior im high school i might get a D in my math class i have already been conditionally accepted into cal state fullerton if i do get a D and they rescind my admission can i appeal it? and how often does it usually work?

What is your overall GPA?

i believe its a 2.7 right now

the math class is a requirment too

Is a “conditional acceptance” like being on academic probation?

When you say that you’re getting a D…do you mean for the quarter, semester, or the final grade for the year?

the condition is that i have to get all c’s and above and its the final grade of the year

Probably you should be proactive and go with humility and desperation to do whatever it takes to maintain your slot. Contact the college.

Looks like you already knew your answer. If you contact CSUF ask if you can retake the class over the summer.

Yes…

Contact CSUF and find out if you can retake the class at a CC. If you live in the area, you can take it at Fullerton College or maybe online somewhere.

Also, talk to your teacher, perhaps there’s some extra work that you can do to bring your grade up to a C.

If you do talk to your teacher (or send an email), don’t be whiney. Man up and take responsibility (unless there is a serious reason for your low grade - like a serious illness). Admit your huge mistake, apologize, and ask for a second chance so that your college plans aren’t compromised. If you don’t know the material, get yourself a tutor.
