CSU fullerton

Hello guys, i would like some feedback on CSUF...I?m an international student and don~t no much about it?s reputation and academics..i?m interested on the radio tv film , and business with entertainment and tourism management concentration.

its in socal south of LA in Orange COunty i think? i live on long island(NY!) but its right near where my sister lives in california not a very well known school its a calstate...really nott known outside of socal

CSUF is a well-reputed Cal State, but has no where near the reputation of the UCs. It is mainly a commuter school, people live at home and attend or nearby, but it does not have the traditional "real" college feel. I went there eons ago and the education was fine, the general ed honours programme was a blast, but it did not feel like a "real" going away to college experiencel. Of course, if you come from abroad and are not living with your parents, it may be cool. It is about 15-30 minutes (all times depend on traffic!!!) away from Disneyland, probably at least half an hour to the beach...probably Huntington or Newport is easiest. Lots of job opportunities around, but you will need to make your own "bubble" of friends-frat/sorority, clubs, etc

Any feedback on the radio film tv program?what about the business?

Their business program has a good reputation, not like Wharton at Penn and not with the potential connections of USC, but a ggood solid reputation.

I am not familiar with their film school and have not lived their for 20+ years so have not heard much ;)

I know lots of students who want to study film. We are in Ca and I have not heard Fullerton being on anyone's list.
Schools you do hear are: USC, Loyola Marymount (Ca), Chapman (Ca), NYU and this year I have heard alot of talk about kids applying to Emerson and University of British Columbia

fullerton....ok just so u know if u wanna go to the beach go to LAguna(second home... first home: house i grew up in..2nd home:Laguna beach where my family has vacationed several times 3rd home: sleepaway camp i went for 3 yrs 4th home that ****t hole town parents and me live in now)its soo pretty and if u like art galleries theres tons there...im not a fan but rents r thats how i kno and there right on the beach

"I know lots of students who want to study film. We are in Ca and I have not heard Fullerton being on anyone's list" that seems odd...sure USC, UCLA, NYU are more famous but not everyone have the grades and/or the money to go there.

Cal State Long Beach has the film school and is closer to the beach, nicer campus.........I think it is a fair bit bigger too. If you are serious about film, seriously look at Chapman University here in Orange County. They have a wonderful reputation. I have never heard about CSUF for film. They are known more for music.
