CSU GPA Question -- Please help!

So I had one GE requirement that I needed to make up, but I wasn’t able to register for the same subject. I retook another subject that fullfilled the area requirement with a passing grade. Do I include the prior class in my gpa? or do I exclude it as an excess course?

If the repeat class is not the “exact” class, you need to report both classes. Both class grades will be included in your GPA.
