Cal states never admit all applicants at one time. Acceptances will be rolling out over the next few weeks.
@gumbymom really? I always thought that they go through all the applications and separated them into “accepted”, “waitlisted”, and “rejected” and then sent out everybody’s emails at the same time. Do you know how they decide who gets their notifications first? Like do they do it by major, location, last name, etc? I’m a transfer and I’m dying to know how they decide who gets to know first. 
I’m hoping it’s by major because if I have to wait for them to get until the end of the alphabet for my name, I’ll be waiting forever!
I believe it’s by local area first, and then anyone with super high stats, and then they go lower from there. That’s my observation. But it’s not always like that, and would be sorta hard to say when someone would get a decision, even with knowing their grades n stuff
@stepasidepeasant , no, most apps are either in competitive or under review. I noticed that only people with high gpas got decisions so far. I’m still waiting
