I just got an email titled “Additional Admission Consideration Opportunity” saying I should apply to BEACH pathways. Did anyone else get this? And does anyone know what it could mean for admission? Idk if this is a good sign or just something not all important

The BEACH Pathways program: This program encourages applicants from targeted communities based on low socioeconomic status and historically low rates of college going to submit supplemental materials for a holistic admissions review. A limited number of applicants will be admitted based on, community involvement/leadership, overcoming significant hardship, and potential for degree completion.
I would fill at the application and submit as soon as possible.
@dogluuver , nothing yet. It seems odd that they would have the acceptances but not have sent the info out yet. I was able to get into mycsulb, but not my email (though they had my name and email address recognized in their system). Maybe they won’t send it until everyone is accepted, rejected or waitlisted, it looks like a handful of people are still pending.
