Did anyone get an e-mail from CSULB today?
I got rejected and I’m so disappointed… This is the first college that I got admission decision…
Has anyone received some form of financial aid package yet where they’ll tell you how much you’ll get per year? I get this one thing under MYCSULB under Financial Aid where it says
2018-------CSULB------ No self-service access for this aid year.
What does this mean?
@thatguyO I would assume you don’t get any financial aid because all the CSUs I got into, it says the same thing. I would double check with the school just in case though! Especially if you’re leaning more toward the school.
For Pomona it doesn’t give me that message. I click on it and it says my financial aid package isn’t done yet or something along those lines so I was thinking that maybe they don’t make those packages until like April. My counselor also said UCs don’t give you a package until later on so probably the same goes for CSU
@thatguyO on a CSULB email I got recently, it said that “Financial aid offers will be sent via email around April 1st for applicants who met the priority deadline of March 2nd.”
So they’re basically saying if you submitted your FAFSA by before March 2, then they will send you your financial aid details by around April 1. Hope this helped!
Yup! Pretty much just answered my question there. I didn’t read the entire email just the part that said I got accepted LOL. Now it’s time to play the waiting game for UC’s. To all other students waiting for decisions: GOOD LUCK!
Me too @Goolia66 , but I wonder when they’ll release my admission decision. I know others in my school have already gotten accepted. CSULB is the last CSU I’m waiting on.
Got in as a music major to the Bob Cole Conservatory, but have received the actual acceptance to the school… Anyone else in a talent based major or has not received any news yet?

I am new to this site, so apologies if I am writing this in the wrong place. I am wait listed for CSU Long Beach and I want to go there so bad! I wanted to know if anyone had any insight on when wait listed students will begin to get picked-up? Like maybe someone knows when accepted students will have to make their decisions? Does anyone know if it truly takes until the end of June to be picked-up?

Hey guys, just out of curiosity, has anyone here that’s on the waitlist heard back from CSULB yet? They’ve redirected my application to a couple of others schools, but I was just wondering when or if anyone has heard back yet
You usually don’t hear about getting off the wait list until after May 1 when students must commit. Best of luck to you.

@Zygole they redirected my application to CSUCI and SFSU
@sydddmac thats interesting, SFSU would be lit but the housing is expensive.
