CSU Northridge **URGENT**

**How does this school rank amongst the other CSU schools in Business? Most notably Accounting?
I have already applied to SJSU and SDSU, but I'm still debating on whether to apply to CSUN. $55 is a lot of money, and I don't want to spend it on an application and I for sure won't end up at Northridge.
I'm also planning to apply to UCI, but with their highly competitive admissions acceptance, I'm pretty sure I won't get in.
Out of SJSU, SDSU, and Northridge what schools do you recommend for Business and why?
Much help is appreciated.

Thanks!**

SDSU, and probably Cal Poly Slo are the strongest for business if I’m not mistaken.
Fullerton and Long Beach I think are also strong.

The thing with business/accounting, especially at the cal state level is that it might be best to attend the cal state that you could commute to or use the one you can commute to as your safety because frankly business is business anyhere, there is significant difference between a business major from one cal state to another. The only no significant difference is the location and the employers that are bound to recruit or hire employees from there. usually the only places were it matters where you do business is if you’re aiming for those top finance jobs, and at that level you’re looking at top schools in the nation, not cal states.

so CSUN might be good if you want to work in the LA Area and even then you’d be competing with kids from USC/UCLA etc, FUllerton Longbeach for the long beach/oc area, sdsu for san diego, and so on and so on.

Yes, I do think that where the school is is where I should look for a job since it would be easier for companies to hire. But I’m curious… What Business/Accounting firms are located in/near SLO? So if I were to stay in San Jose and attend SJSU, I would be competing with SCU and SF schools pretty much?
