Which CSU schools around LA has good biology program? What I mean by good is a school that's not too stingy about grades. I'm a hard working person but I know some schools just have a tough grading system.

I'm thinking of CSU LB but heard that it's hard to register for classes you want because seats in each class are so limited.
Do they just accept more students than they can afford?

I'm trying to register as an open university student (non-degree program. only getting credit) and since registration is first come first serve for non-degree student, I need a CSU campus that's not too overcrowded.

CSU LB, CSUN are my 2 options as CSU cal poly pomona is quarter based. I'd consider CSU Fullerton but nothing seems to be beneficial for me to go there in terms of school ranking and distance.
