Hi everyone,

I'm a CCC student and have attended two private universities before my current school (lots of transferring, I know). I applied to and was admitted into a CSU (SFSU) for Fall 2013, but I received what I think might be incorrect information about CSU transferable courses. Basically, I omitted what I thought were some non-transferable courses from the private universities when entering my GPA on the app. Upon reviewing my transcripts again before I send them out, I feel that they actually might be equivalent to some SFSU courses and thus might be transferable after all. I initially entered my GPA as 3.18, but with the originally omitted courses, it is 2.84, and 2.92 after factoring in Fall 2012, though I'm not sure if that semester will matter since the deadline was before it was over. Everything else about my application was accurate.

Just to be on the cautious side, I plan on contacting the school to notify them of this. I want to send my transcripts before doing so, just in case contacting them before they have them on file causes confusion. The minimum GPA is 2.0 (for locals, which I am), but despite that and my honesty about the situation, I'm still worried that my admission might get rescinded if the reported GPA and the actual one don't match up. Thoughts? Anyone ever been in a similar situation with a CSU and GPAs not matching up?
