I am a disqualified student who is making up grades at my csu. I have taken classes at cc as well and i plan on transfer to another cc so i can tag to maybe uci. There are some classes that do not transfer from csu to uc like public speaking. Do i still need to make these grades up? Is it okay as long as my gpa is above 2.0? I plan to get a good gpa at the cc i am going to attend. Ive never attended this cc before. At another mission cc, the one ive attended before, my gpa may be low too. I plan to raise it this semester

You are highly unlikely to transfer to a UC with a GPA in the 2s. I’d focus on transfering to a less competitive school like CSU CI or San Marcos.

Don’t listen to NCalRent

It’s doable, I finished CSU with a 1.8 GPA in the summer of 2012.

I went to a CC and I made up all my classes and busted my rear off and got A’s and now I have a 3.55 GPA and I’ve applied to UCLA, UCSB, USC, UCI, UCR ETC.

When I left CSU due to academic probation I didn’t believe in myself, I lost hope. I literally thought about dropping out and joining the MILITARY.
